Nuno Bettencort 는 실력에 비해서 참으로 운이 없는 것 같다.
저번 펜타포트 락 페스티벌 때도 비교적 잘 안나가는 밴드들이 공연하는 백주대낮에 편성되어 노래하질 않나.;; (괜히 내가 다 자존심 상했다) 솔직히 placebo 나 muse 인기가 훨씬 많은 건 알고 있지만, 연배로 보나 연주 실력으로 보나 level 이 다른 사람인데. 뭐 물론 placebo, muse 다 나의 favorite band 이긴 하지만.
난 익스트림 때 노래보다 나중에 솔로 앨범이 더 좋던데. 저번에 보니 충격적이게도 nuno의 솔로 앨범은 평론가들에게 혹독한 평가를 받았다고 한다. extreme 이야 워낙에 연주실력으로 검증된 비운의 밴드로 유명하고. (하지만 내 스타일은 아니었다)
예전 population1 때도 우리나라에 와서 홍보활동을 펼치던 그 인데. 일본만 가고 한국은 거들떠도 안보는 가수가 대부분인 것에 비해 얼마나 바람직한 모습인가!
난 bury you 가 너무 좋다. bury you 야 워낙 멜로디 자체가 뛰어난 노래이지만 멜로디의 좋고 싫음을 떠나서 연주를 너무 잘한다. 나 같은 막귀도 그렇게 들을 정도니.
훗. 뭐 이렇게 이야기 하면 nuno 에 대해서 많이 아는 사람 같지만 사실 딱 이정도만 알고 있다. 이정도면 충분치 않은가? 흐흐
